Why "the Church" in North America doesn't attract many New "Converts"
Monday, March 29, 2004
North American Christianity is a country-club that requires non-Christians and new-Christians to learn its rules, its culture, in order to fit in. In this "Club-Church" becoming a "Christian" has nothing to do with learning how to be "like Christ". It has everything to do with becoming socially acceptable to the "Club".
That is why "Club-Church" is irrelevant and a "whatever" that doesn't attract non-"club members".
They don't want to be part of a club.
They do want to know about God and the Jesus he sent, who stood against the "club-church" of His day.
This is "The HOUSE". Make it your own.
